Rules
We don't have too many "rules" for submissions to the site, but the ones we have are pretty hard line. We want everyone to be able to enjoy browsing through the galleries. We also don't want the galleries to be inundated with 500 photos a day by the same person. That is why we've instituted the following rules ...
- Keep your photos free or any nudity, racial/hate propaganda, or offensive slurs. Our beliefs might not match yours, and vice versa, but I know that there are plenty of wonderful photos you've taken without those too.
- The submission form will only allow 2 submissions per IP address per day. We want to see all your photos, but please don't try to overload the system more than it allows. Thank you.
- Please limit your voting to once per voting session. Let everyone have a fair chance of winning. You are welcome to have your friends visit the site to cast a vote too, but please only once per monthly session.
Categories
Currently we have three categories for submission. If you have another category in mind for submission, please let us know. We are more than happy to expand the gallery. We tried to cover many topics, or possibilities, within the following three categories ...
- Bridges & Waterfalls - Whether they are large or small, all types of bridges and waterfalls are included in this category. If you happen to find a waterfall area that doesn't have water falling because of whatever reason, you can submit that too. Just let us know which waterfall it was supposed to be.
- Lighthouses & Beaches - Right now you can submit anything with a lighthouse, beach, large body of water, water landscape, etc for this category. We might separate out other bodies of water later for a lakes, ponds, and oceans category if we have enough interest.
- People & Pets - Large or small gatherings are fine with any amount of people in them. Maybe you had a person photobomb your landscape shot? That's a good submission too. For right now we will also allow any animal pictures to be submitted to the People and Pets category.
We thank you for taking the time to visit this site, and we appreciate that you wanted to help us make it better with your photos even more. This site can only be as good as all the club members and visitors who submit their work. We've placed the chat box below in case you misssed it on the side of the other pages.
