Michigan Through the Seasons

Summer Time

During the Summer in Michigan, there are a plethora of activities that can make the season more fun. When the Co-Vid19 pandemic is not shutting things down, there are hundreds of parks, campgrounds, trails, forests, waterfalls, historial sites, and more that can be visited. Michigan has has hundreds of different festivals both locally and throughout the state like the Lilac Festival (Mackinaw), Tulip Festival (Holland), National Cherry Festival (Traverse City), Armada Fair (Armada), Good Old Days (Richmond, MI), and the list goes on.

Michigan has many state and national forests/campgrounds that any level of outdoorsmen could enjoy. Check out some of the links below for cabin rentals, KOA campgrounds, RV park campgrounds, ATV trails and hiking trails. Each link is just a sampling of what is available for Michigan tourists and outdoorsmen. They are just a step in the right direction towards your summer time possibilities.

Michigan is also a great place for jelly and jam making because of all the different types of berries that can be picked either in the wild or at farms. Whether you like things tart, red and juicy, or just something to add to your pancakes ... Michigan has the berry for you. Some people even make wine out of the berries that Michigan has to offer, but I won't give you information on that one. {winks}
