You could probably have guess from my all-time favorite movie that I would probably love to listen to musical soundtracks. As a matter of fact, there are a bunch that I do enjoy listening to. I am a little particular to certain versions of things. Some singers just perform the numbers better than others.
I love listening to many of the older Disney songs from their glory days in movies. Song from Mary Poppins, Babes in Toyland, The Monkey's Uncle, The Happiest Millionaire, the early animated movies, original Mickey Mouse club with Annette Funicello, and so much more. The CD's showing for the Classic Disney Songs Volumes 1-4 were wore out in tape form, and I had to get CD's. I know some of the newer animated movies (meaning the 1990's Disney animated) are also on these, but I loved singing those too.

I also love listening to classical piano and violin music. I like to relax by it, and I find it very soothing. Though some music like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is very moving and not so relaxing, but I still love it. There is power and passion in many forms of classical music like TSO.
George Winston is one of my favorite pianists to listen to, and Lindsey Stirling is my favorite violinist to listen to. Lindsey Stirling also has some songs that contain vocals on the tracks. "Shatter Me" is the title track, and she has a singer named "Lizzy Hale" who does the vocals. Amazing. "Shatter Me" is a song that I sing at karaoke both because I love it and people request that I do it.
Pachabell's Canon in D ... and all the variations that people create on it instrumentally ... is probably my all-time favorite classical song to listen to. I am amazed how something can still be recognizable as Pachabell's Cannon, and yet it is not written the same way. There are a lot of talented composers and musicians out there.
